Why Philpot? Trusted Conservative Leadership

By admin, on Jul 22, 2010

According to the most recent Gallup Poll regarding the lack of confidence in the Democrat-controlled congress, it is time to recycle the US House of Representatives.

The definition of insanity is "doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

Voters in Utah's 2nd Congressional District face a historic vote this November, the outcome of which will determine if America stays on the same self-destructive path by re-electing the current incumbent or puts in place a leader with a proven record of reducing wasteful spending, balancing budgets and cutting taxes.

If we want America to go in a different direction, it will require new leadership.

The choice is clear, and so I put this question to the voters of Utah, "What will you choose?"

Jim Matheson is only concerned about one thing.... his reelection.

Mr. Philpot, instead of posting platitudes on your website, why don't you tell us what you really stand for? What is the difference between you and Matheson, other than you're a Republican and he's a Democrat? What's your real purpose in running for Congress, other than the fact that you want to end the Democrat majority? What do you plan to do for Utah and for the country? What are your ideas for "new leadership"? Give us something real, not just the same anti-establishment hype we're hearing from every other Republican.

At this point, I don't care what he does or does not believe in.  Getting ride of Obama's control of both house and senate are priority one.  This nation needs the checks and balances provided for when there is an opposition party capable of providing some impediment to the "hope" and "change" that a certain sitting president wishes to impose upon his nation.   Nathan, I sure hope that you were against the vague platitudes Obama espoused during the campaign, and you aren't just trolling for republicans to discredit.
